The Role
The person who we’re looking for must be proficient in the following:
· Monitor daily inbound flight status until shipments retrieved
· Oversee shipment details and update other regions in a timely and accurate manner
· Coordinate any necessary transportation to make sure that delivery has been completed
· Communicate with overseas offices to ensure that they send appropriate import documents and follow customers' SOP
· Follow up with Broker for customs exceptional cases
· Escalate unique or complex customer/operations issues in a timely manner to resolve with necessary assistance.
· Conduct performance review of vendors/carriers
· Communicate with interdepartmental teams to be aligned on updates and new procedures
· Compare and negotiate competitive rates with vendors
· Review and process Claim compensations with last mile carriers
· Establish, monitor, and revise internal SOPs
· Maintain KPIs for efficient management of inbound freight including timely recovery and hand over to last mile carriers

Requirements
· Bachelor's degree preferred
· Minimum three-year related experience of import operations
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
· Ability to work independently
· Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
· Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Proficient in MS Office applications


$50k~$60K per year
