Summer Camp on Data Analysis: Applying Excel to financial/accounting data

美国经济学博士。 十年数据分析和商业情报咨商经验。 目前是南加州大型医疗集团的数据咨询师。曾经为加州州政府和南加州爱迪生电力公司从事数据挖掘。
Ph.D in Economics. 10 years' experience in data analysis and business intelligence. Currently Data Consultant for a large healthcare organization in California. Previously worked as Data Mining Analyst for the State of California at Sacramento and Southern California Edison at Rosemead.
2 招生条件Prerequisite:
2.1 基本电脑操作。本科或者社区大学在读或者毕业。欢迎求职者和职场新鲜人。Students have basic understanding of mathematics and have experience working with computers
2.2 学员自备笔记本电脑。已经安装Excel和其他Microsoft Office应用程序。Students possess laptops installed with Excel (version 2007 or newer)
3 讲授课题Topics to be covered
3.1 Excel界面的基本介绍(workbook, sheet, row, column, etc.)， 数据输入的技巧，基本的数据选取和重组技巧
3.2 Excel 常用函数的介绍和练习(数值函数, 字母函数, 日期函数)
3.3 Excel pivot table的介绍和应用:　从原始数据生成可供管理层阅读的报告
3.4 Excel 常用图表的介绍和应用( pie chart, bar chart, trend line, etc.)
3.5 Excel 高级函数和应用(V-Lookup and others)
4 课程价格：$30/hour。 每个课题授课时间在1.5小时左右。
