（视频）405高速发生翻车起火事故！两人当场死亡

据KTLA等2月11日报道 消防部门通报称，周三凌晨，洛杉矶威斯彻斯特（Westchester）405高速南向车道上，发生了一起翻车起火事故，造成两人当场死亡，并导致多条车道关闭数小时。这起致命事故发生时，正值南加州迎来一个多月以来的首场降雨。

据报道，事故发生在周三凌晨2点刚过，事发地点位于La Tijera Boulevard以北的405高速南向车道上。洛杉矶消防局表示，一辆白色轿车在高速上单车翻覆后起火，导致两名乘客当场死亡。有关部门暂未公布两名死者的具体年龄、性别等身份信息。

由于事故调查和清理工作，加州高速公路巡警（CHP）对事发路段发布了SIG警报。405高速南向所有车道关闭了数小时，之后才逐步恢复通行。

上午6点43分，CHP官员表示，南向3号和4号车道仍处于关闭状态，预计拥堵将持续约两小时。由于此时已处于早高峰通勤阶段，当局提醒司机尽量避开事故路段，使用替代路线通行。

该部门补充说，CHP官员已到达现场，正在清理道路。并提醒司机途径该路段时小心驾驶。

所有车道于上午9点23分重新开放。
