Job description:
A warehouse supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, managing staff, inventory, and logistics to ensure efficient receiving, stocking, and shipping of goods. Key responsibilities include supervising warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts, ensuring workplace safety and regulatory compliance, coordinating with other departments, and improving operational processes for greater efficiency. Primary Responsibilities
Staff Management: Hiring, training, supervising, and motivating warehouse staff.Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, conducting cycle counts and physical inventories, and resolving discrepancies.Logistics & Operations: Coordinating and overseeing receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.Safety & Compliance: Enforcing safety regulations, conducting safety audits, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.Equipment & Facilities: Overseeing the maintenance of warehouse equipment and machinery.Process Improvement: Analyzing and implementing strategies to optimize workflows, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
