About the Position:
HRC Fertility is committed to providing our patients with quality care and are looking for exceptional candidates to join our team as a Translator . This will be a Full time position in our Newport Beach location. We are looking for candidates who can work as a team player and are looking to develop their knowledge in the medical field. This candidate must be compassionate, energetic, detail － oriented, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities
Facilitate effective communication between two parties that do not speak a similar language by converting one spoken or written language to another.Attend patients HRC appointments and meetings and act as official translator for discussion between the patient and physician or clinical teams.Convert written materials from one language into another, such as patient consents, treatment plan, etc…Edit and proofread text to accurately reflect language.Translate patient materials and information into another language.Handles written communication i.e. letters, emails, faxes and memos.
Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, promote teamwork, promote positive human relations and organize with strong management/leadership skills.Flexible, yet organized, with the ability to exercise sound judgment.Maintains confidentiality.Ability to work in collaboration with managers, employees of all levels, and the physicians.
