1. Background and Objectives

Over the last few years, there have been more and more Chinese immigrants integrating into all levels of American society. Many successful young Chinese professionals need more platforms to display their talents and abilities. We want to give these platforms to those successful professionals who are interested in exploring their talents. Through a series of events, we will help explore and present these hidden talents to everyone, and show everyone how deep and strong a talent pool we have.

2. Rules

1) The Karaoke competition will have a preliminary round and a final round. Preliminary round scores will be decided by professional judges. The host will be responsible for things such as costumes, backup dancing, lighting, etc., for all competitors who advanced to the final round.
2) The host organization must receive all necessary competitor information 10 days before the competition. This includes picture, personal information, list of talents, and the accompany music for the song they are to sing.
3) Scores will be from 1 to 10, with the last 2 points depended on audience response.

3. Performance Platform

1) WCETV will broadcast and made available online our competition final
2) CCN-TV will broadcast and made available online our competition final segments.
3) The winner of the competition will be interviewed by radio station
4) SCCPA will provide the top competitors with performance opportunities.
5) Your scores and bio will be featured in SCCPA website and publication.

4. Important Notices

1) The first competition is only a singing competition
2) All competitors need to follow host organization’s arrangements.
3) The judges?decisions are final
4) Competitors are responsible for any expenses such as transportation, living arrangement, food, etc.
5) SCCPA is the sole owner of all applicable copyrights pertaining to this competition, including images of competitors, audio recordings, etc.
6) SCCPA and all organizations related to this competition is not liable for any lost or damages physically or otherwise that affected all participants.
