**YGAP May event**

YGAP is hosting a Kayaking event on Saturday, May 10th, from 9:30am-
1pm. From Sunset Beach , we will be kayaking around Huntington Harbor .

Bring: sunscreen, sunglasses, swimsuit, visor/hat, and whatever holds
you over for 3 hours. Also a ziplock bag to hold anything you don't
want to get wet (i.e. cellphone, cameras).

Early arrival and carpooling is strongly suggested, since parking is
limited.

When: Saturday, May 10th. 9:30am-1pm

(corner of PCH and 11th St ; all web-based maps are a bit off
target)

How much?
All equipment included (i.e. life vests).
Those who pre-pay will receive 3 hour rental and choice of
single, double or 3-person kayaks. Pre-pay'ers will also receive
bottled water and snacks.

YGAP Members (or if you'd like to become a new [add $40] or
renew [add $30] YGAP Membership) Pre-pay: $10.00/person by check or
$10.61/person by paypal.

Non-YGAP Members Pre-pay: $12.00/person by check or
$12.67/person by paypal.

If you pre-pay and arrive after 10am, you will be refunded.

If you decide not to pre-pay or you are late, then renting is
still available via Sunset Rentals for 2 hours @$13 for single, $25
for double and $30 for 3-person kayaks.

Pre-pay deadline by Thursday, May 10th, 11:59pm.

If weather becomes an issue, please monitor this evite.

A local event you may also want to check out afterwards is the annual
Sunset Beach Arts Festival (scheduled every Mother's Day weekend),
going on nearby.

Also groups may decide to go to lunch in nearby Long Beach or
Huntington Beach after the event.
